Irish Crisis: Response from Vatican

I have been too early when suggesting that the Irish government bows to the Vatican.
(Article: WikiLeaks – Handling of the Irish Crisis: http://survivorsvoice-europe.org/?p=1432)
And although I still have my reservations concerning modern times’ politicians and their relations with the Vatican, I have been wrong.
An answer has now been received form the alleged “Holy See” and the Vatican has surpassed itself in ignorance, narcism and hypocrisy in that answer. If you would ever have thought such thing to be possible…

But first of all I must admit that I was wrong, I humbly admit it.
Irish PM Enda Kenny holds his position and is actually getting more determined not to let them get away with their interpretation of the facts. I have taken my hat off for him before and I do that again and this time I humbly apologize.
What happened? The catholic hierarchy DID answer to Enda Kenny’s allegations!

As always the catholic church hierarchy applied their standard strategy to delay answering to a question coming from a “simple mortal”. Understandable as they are so much more concerned about life after death than the lives they destroy while on this earth.

Again in standard manner they state their “abhorrence for the crimes of sexual abuse that took place”, again they express that they are “sorry and ashamed for the terrible sufferings which the victims of abuse and their families have had to endure” and again they confirm to be undertaking everything possible to make sure children will be safe in the future.

As always Mr Ratzinger and his disciples do not mention one word about how they will make amends to those who have been damaged by those crimes, in Ireland or elsewhere. Again they want us to turn our faces towards the future and and again try to make us forget about the past. Recent reactions received from the congregation of the faith in Rome show an absolute opposite of this so-called or implied empathy with the victims.

To take the statement apart, and to reveal the lies and manipulation, I leave to people like mr. Colm O’Gorman, who have so much more in-depth knowledge of the Irish situation and history. What disturbed me and why I write this article, is that it made me so angry again: the ease with which the Vatican simply steps over the bodies of the victims from the past and points us at the horizon. Where all the good of the catholic church will be coming from…
Shame on you Ratzinger: you are abusing us again!

Favourite quotes from Mahatma Gandhi:
“I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.”
“Those who say religion has nothing to do with politics do not know what religion is.”
“God has no religion.”
