WikiLeaks: Handling of Irish Crisis – 26 Feb. 2010

Below you find the full report published at WikiLeaks concerning the handling of, what is called the “Sex Abuse Scandal”, by the Vatican.
It is not up to me to advise you to mistrust your politicians, but it you read this report and how the physical or sexual abuse of children is discussed behind the scenes by diplomatic services and is brought back to a diplomatic procedure and to-be-followed tactics…

I don’t know anymore from whom to expect the support to obtain justice for the crimes committed by roman catholic clergy against children all over the world.

From the publication you will see how the Vatican is being soft-handled and protected by diplomatic immunity etc. and that we have not much good to expect from our politicians in the relationship with their fellow nation: the Vatican. In 2010 at least!

Maybe PM Enda Kenny’s speech in the Irish parliament is the beginning of a new era, but it may also have been pure publicity and political theatrical play. For the time being the Vatican has not answered as requested by PM Kenny and so far they do get away with it…still.
To be watched closely. WikiLeaks thanks for this publication.
